Hascol Petroleum Limited is looking for a Manager Taxation based at Head Office, Karachi.

This position is responsible for direct & indirect taxation of the company to the tax authorities.

MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise monthly e-filing of sales tax return to FBR, SBR, PRA
• Review monthly sales tax input & output of the sales tax returns
• Supervise the general ledger group to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met
• Sales tax of the company
• Advise staff regarding the handling of sales tax reporting
• Supervise monthly e-filing of withholding income tax
• Prepare quarterly advance tax statement of the company
• Prepare & filed annual Income tax return of the company
• Advise senior management on tax matters & potential impact of current & future tax laws
• Manage ongoing relationship with tax consultants & tax authorities
• Review all documents and submit to the tax authorities

EXPERIENCE

• 10–12 years of relevant experience, preferably in the Oil and Gas sector.
• Candidate should be well versed with rules, regulations and processes governing litigation with revenue authorities.
• Candidate should be well versed with core financial accounting and be able to extract information from legacy records.
